Good morning church,
Today we are starting the book of Isaiah. Isaiah served from 750 BC to around 680 BC. Like many of the prophets they were speaking to very rebellious people. In these verses we see Isaiah cry out to the heavens and the earth because the people were to rebellious to listen. Even though these people wouldn’t listen, God continues to cry out through the prophets, and here God will try to reason with the people of Israel. As I read these verses I thought of our country and how long-suffering God has been toward us. Church, we need to be in prayer for America. We are in bad shape. We are a picture of rebellious Israel. What makes us think judgement won’t come? Turn to Jesus in these last day’s and pray.

Memory Verse: 2nd Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
