Good morning church,

Paul in Titus 3 is instructing Titus as a leader. He starts off with remember, I think we can all relate to that because as a whole we are forgetful people. He says remember¬†authority. In other words, abide by the laws of the land, UNTIL they go against¬†God’s word, Acts 5:29. He starts with our speech and then goes into good works. At the same time, he brings up our past. Most of the time we would like to forget our past. But here he says basically, don’t forget where you came from. And verses 5 through 8 says who is responsible for this abundant new life, it’s Jesus Christ. Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe.
