In God we trust

My O my how time fly’s by. Good Wednesday morning to you all.

Our devotion today is called, ” In God we trust ” Psalm 118:8 says, It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man. From what I’ve heard this is the middle verse of the Bible. I don’t think this is saying we should never trust anyone, but it is saying we should trust God before anyone else. Why? Because He is trustworthy. He has kept every promise He ever made. He fulfilled over 300 prophecies from the old testament to the new concerning Jesus. Josh McDowell in his book, “Evidence that demands a verdict” said, to do this would be like filling the state of Texas knee high with silver dollars, painting one red, blindfolding a person, telling them to go out into Texas and pick that red one and the person does it. Mark 10:27 says with man it is impossible but with God all things are possible. Lets all put our trust in the one who will fulfill everything He says He will do. In God we trust should be on the heart of every believer. All His promises are yes and amen. 2nd Corinthians 1:20 says, For all the promises of God in Him/Jesus are yes, and in Him amen.

Please continue to pray for Keleianne’s family, for Pastor Tom Martha, Roger Lewis and for my daughter Melainie.

Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
