Love never fails

Happy Friday to you all. 11 days until the election, Pray, pray, pray.

Our devotion on this Friday is called, ” Love never fails ” Psalm 78:38 says, But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, And did not destroy them. Yes, many a time He turned His anger away, And did not stir up all His wrath. As we all know Israel was in rebellion to God throughout their history. If we see anything in this relationship it is God’s longsuffering and mercy. As I look at the church today there is not much difference. Many pastors are being found out about their sin and many Christians are bowing down to the evil of this world. God is the same yesterday, today and forever, Hebrews 13:8. God’s mercy is always there but as His children our love for Him should cause repentance in our hearts when we have done evil against our God. For God to allow Israel to cross that Jordan, with Joshua leading is mercy, for God to allow Israel back into the land in 1948 is mercy, and for God to allow us into heaven is mercy. Thank you LORD for Your wonderful mercy, and forgiveness that is new every morning, Lamentations 3:22-23. When it comes right down to it, God loves us!

Have a blessed weekend, go to church on Sunday, and always remember that Jesus loves you!
