Good morning church,

As children of God, we will go through times of testing and trials and if we remain in rebellion we can go through times of loss. That is what we see in Isaiah Chapter 3. God is taking away all the material blessings that came from the king Uzziah, who was a godly king. When blessings come and we begin to heap to ourselves treasure and live like were rock stars, LOOK OUT! As children of God there is nothing wrong with being rich. But if you become prideful and arrogant, you’re liable to end up like those in Isaiah 3. You might say, this is a mean thing to do, but God will do things to get our attention. When chastisement comes, pay attention and repent, this world can get us so sidetracked with entertainment and many other things. Seek God for direction and He will give it to you. If things are being taken out of your life, don’t blame God, seek God.

There is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing;
And one who makes himself poor, yet has great riches.
