Psalm 18:1-3

Good morning to everyone and the weekend is almost here.

Please pray for Tina, she got knocked down by our crazy dogs a couple of days ago and hurt her knee and elbow and yester got bit by a wasp so pray for healing and we will be in psalm 18:1-2 which says, ” I WILL love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock my fortress and my deliverer; MY God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and horn of my salvation, my stronghold, and we have to put verse 3, I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. David had been delivered from Saul and He was pouring out his heart in appreciation for God’s deliverance. You can see from these 3 verses that God is everything to David. God is his protection, strength, Rock, deliverer. We will never see God work if we are not in the battle. But when we deny ourselves and pick up our cross and follow Jesus, Luke 9:23, we will see Our LORD work in such wonderful ways it will draw us closer and closer, just like David, to our God. Whatever you’re going through, give it to God and trust Him. Last night Alex put up a verse that fits this devotion, Psalm 118:8 which says, It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man, and that is the middle verse of the Bible.

Have a blessed day, keep your eyes on Jesus, and always remember that He loves you!
