Daily Devotion
Psalm 2:1
Happy Friday to everyone.
I’ve decided to go through the book of Psalms and take a verse from each chapter and the longer chapters we will take a few more verses, instead of rock song titles. So today we are in Psalm 2:1 says, “Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing?” Since the very beginning people have chased after vanity. Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 2 how vain chasing after the pleasures of this life can be. He had it all and he tried it all and at the end in Chapter 12;13 he said, Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. God made many things on this earth to enjoy but when that becomes our God we end up in misery. Let the Lord be you everything and your heart will be full and content.
Have a blessed weekend and go to church on Sunday and hear the word of God. And remember that Jesus loves you!
