Daily Devotion
Psalm 6:2
Good morning to all and I pray you have a blessed day.
I slept great last night, thanks for the prayers.
Our devotion is in Psalm 6:2 which says, Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled. WE can see in this psalm why God called David a man after His own heart. David’s heart is broken over his sin. He is crying himself to sleep and wants nothing to do with evil. It’s a bit sad when we have to come to a place of reflection on failure to be brought to a place of repentance but if that’s what it takes, so be it. With the Psalms you get the bright days and the dark days and Psalm 6 is a dark day for David. Whenever we go through the valley of the shadow of death, our only option as a child of God is to turn to God. Storms will come and go, but Jesus Christ remains the same, Hebrews 13:8 which says He is always there for us to comfort us and help in time of need. We are living in stressful times and what will get us through is sitting at the feet of our creator. He’s willing, so come and be comforted and blessed.
Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
