Our devotion today is called, ” The right hand of the Lord ” Psalm 118:15-16 says, The voice of rejoicing and salvation Is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly, The right hand of the LORD is exalted; The right hand of the LORD does valiantly. The right hand speaks of strength and who is at the right hand of God? It is Jesus! At the stoning of the first martyr Stephen, Stephen cried out in Acts 7:55 saying he saw Jesus standing at the right hand of God. The only place in the Bible where Jesus is standing at the right hand of God. Jesus stood up for the testimony of the first martyr of the new testament. The tents of the righteous rejoice at God’s right hand because when the righteous rule the people of God rejoice. Proverbs 29:2 says, When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, But when the wicked man rules, the people groan. Twice it says, The right hand of the LORD does valiantly. Who can stand against the power of the LORD? No-one. Deuteronomy 11:25, 2nd Chronicles 20:6, Romans 8:31, Isaiah 14:27. Oh what a mighty God we serve. We rejoice in our tents/houses because of the LORD and what He has done for us.
