Happy Friday, the first weekend of 2025, thank you Jesus.

Our devotion today is called, ” He is worthy ” Psalm 105:1-2 says, OH, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of His wondrous works! Give thanks to Him, Call upon Him, and make known His name. As God’s children we find ourselves doing these three things. We thank Him for all He does for us. From the food we eat to the clothes we wear. We call upon Him for help when we need it. We call upon Him for help for our loved ones, for our enemies, for our basic needs. And we make known His name to friends and strangers. And when it comes right down to it that is how we fulfill Mathew 5:16 which says, Let your light so shine before men, that they will see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. When we love something we have a tendency to talk about it. I remember as a kid when the song The house of the rising sun came out and my buddy Steve King was talking about how awesome the song was. That is how God’s people are about Jesus! WE found the living water, We found the way to heaven and the way to get away from things that drag us down. We found the Messiah of Israel and we can’t be quiet about Jesus. John 16:14 Jesus said, Speaking of the Holy Spirit, He will glorify Me, for He will take what is Mine and declare it to you. What a beautiful passage of scripture David through the Holy Spirit wrote down for us to read in Psalm 105:1.
