Good day to everyone and it is cold, 28 degrees and 90 percent chance of rain tomorrow which means we could get snow here in Texas.

Please continue to pray for pastor Tom and Patty, his surgery is scheduled for the end of this month. And for Martha for healing Roger Lewis and for Donna’s niece, thanks so much.

Our devotion is called, ” His promises never fail ” Psalm 105:42-43 says, For He remembered His holy promise, And Abraham His servant. He brought out His people with joy, His chosen ones with gladness. In this chapter we see Joseph used by God for the famine and Moses used by God to bring His children out of Egypt and here at the end of the chapter we see it was God fulfilling His promise to Abraham. Many people are horrible at keeping promises, but not God! Everything He has promised He will do. Over 300 prophecies from old testament to new and everyone of them are fulfilled. There are some things for us as believers that haven’t happened yet, as far as God’s promises, such as being absent from the body, 2nd Corinthians 5:8. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and be present with the Lord. God’s promise that we as His children will be with Him after this body dies. 2nd Corinthians 1:20 says, For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him amen. Here in Psalm 105 we see God fulfilling a promise to Abraham years later. In verse 43 it says that it is a joy for God to fulfill His promise to His children. What an awesome God we serve.
