Daily Devotion

Double-minded people

Good day to you all and let’s keep on serving Jesus.

Our devotion today is called, “Double minded people” Psalm 119:113 says, I hate the double minded, But I love Your law. Why does God’s word say this? James 1:8, says a double-minded man, is unstable in all his ways. The verses before this speak of lacking in faith. God’s desire is for us to have faith in Him more than anything else. We can become double minded when we are not seeking God through prayer and His word. In other words we are not letting our yes be yes and no be no, We can be swayed in the wrong direction more easily, we can say one thing and do another. But when we are at the feet of Jesus, studying His word, praying, in fellowship, sharing our faith we will not be double-minded. I don’t think the psalmist is saying he hates the person, but that he hates them being double-minded. Love God, Hate sin! Love you all and stay close to Jesus.

Thank you for all the prayers and always remember that Jesus loves you!
