Good Monday morning. What’s good about it? It is the day the LORD has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it, Psalm 118:24. Come just as you are, can’t you hear the Spirit call? Isaiah 55:1 says, Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Our devotion on this Monday 5/19/25 is called, ” come and find out “. This verse is a picture of salvation. Wouldn’t it be nice to go into the grocery store and get whatever you wanted for free? All the things we need to keep this old body going. Well how much more important is our soul. God says you can come and get the nourishment for your soul for free. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. To go into a grocery store and buy food we have to work to get fed but no so with the spiritual. God says come just as you are, Matthew 11:28-30. It does take some work to grow in the Lord, we have to study God’s word and pray but not to get saved. I used to go into material yards when I was a contractor, and a few times I thought, wouldn’t it be nice if I didn’t have to pay for these materials. But we have far greater rich’s by coming to Christ. ” Come and find out “
