” No other gospel ” Is the title of our devotion. Galatians 1:8 says, But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. The word gospel means good news. The good news of salvation only comes through one person, Jesus and one way, the word of God. It is truly amazing how many religions there are that claim to be the way to heaven. So what makes Christianity so special? The answer is Jesus. When He came He fulfilled over 300 prophecies from the old testament to the new. In Josh McDowells book evidence that demands a verdict, Josh said that to fulfill 8 of these prophecies would be like filling Texas knee high in silver dollars, paint one of them red, blind fold a guy, send him out to find the red one, and he picks it out on the first try. That is just 8 of the prophecies. He was born of a virgin which mean Jesus was born sinless! The sin seed is passed from the male. Jesus lived a perfect life 2nd Corinthians 5:21 and gave His life for the sin of this world. When Jesus cried out my God my God why have You forsaken Me, Matthew 27:46, that is when our sin was laid upon Jesus and sin separates from a holy God, for the first time ever Jesus felt separation from the Father. And the good news is? Three days later He rose from the dead! The proof is overwhelming. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him. There is no other gospel except the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise Him for His wonderful works.
