Hello everyone and I pray your day is blessed.

” That’s gonna leave a mark ” is the title of our devotion today. Proverbs chapter 12 and verse 18 says, there is one who speaks like the piercing of a sword, but the tongue of the wise promotes health. The things we Say and the things we do can cause people to have a bad day or a good day. We are made in such a way that things we hear can really affect how we feel. When we say hurtful things It can be like the piercing of a sword to our soul and that’s why it’s so important to be careful what you say like the book of James says to be slow to speak and quick to listen. At the same time we can speak wonderful things that cause people to be encouraged and lifted up. That’s why the Bible says to exhort one another and that means to encourage. And that is being wise because it says right here but the tongue of the wise promotes health. So let’s all do our best to show the love of God which is promoting health and doing good even to those who aren’t good to us and by doing these things we can show the love of God. By this you will know that they are my disciples by the love they have one for another. Please continue to pray for David Lewis.
