Our Devotion on this Wednesday is called, ” You just keep doing your best, pray that it’s blessed, And Jesus takes care of the rest ” Colossians Chapter Three and verse 17 says, And whatever you do in Word or deed, Do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, Giving thanks to God the Father through Him. So whatever you do in Word or deed says that our words and our actions should all be in the name of Jesus and giving glory to Him. Tina and I were in the grocery store the other day and a young lady was checking us out and I said you’re pretty busy today aren’t you. And she said I’m doing my best. So I told her just keep doing your best, Pray that it’s blessed, And Jesus takes care of the rest. She smiled really big and said I really like that So I told her who sang the song and told her to look it up. Wherever we are and whatever we’re doing we can always bring God into the equation somehow. As we pray our way through this life all we can do is the best that we can do and the Lord will take care of the rest. It is so good to know that God knows our limitations and He will credit us for the things we want to do but can’t. 2nd Corinthians chapter 8 and verse 12 says, For if there is first a willing mind, It is accepted according to what one has, And not according to what he does not have. Our God is so good all we have to do is be willing and even if we can’t get it accomplished because of our limitations the Lord honors that. So just keep doing your best, Pray that it’s blessed, And Jesus takes care of the rest. Remember to vote in November and please continue to pray for our family out here in Texas.
