Good morning, here we are, gathered together as a family. Bound as one, lifting up our voices to the King of kings, singing Abba Father.

Our devotion today is called, ” A fruitful family ” Psalm 128:3 says, Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In every heart of your house, Your children shall be like olive plants All around your table. What a beautiful picture of a Christian family. The olive plant seeds grow up to look just like the mom plant. This is saying when we are the example to our children by being Christlike they more than likely will grow up to do the same. So often we see the example the other way also. When a parent is ungodly, often the children will be the same way. Any good parent will want their children to grow up to be good people. The wife spends more time with the children than the husband usually and that is why this says, Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine, she spends all day with the little ones and it is when they are small that they soak it all in like a sponge. Or it could be Dad but usually Mom. whichever, take the time to teach our children the ways of our LORD. You will have a great and awesome family by doing that.
