Our devotion today is called ” A never ending battle ” 1st Timothy 6:12 says, Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. Our life in Christ many times is a battle. Just think about when we come to the Lord we are snatched from the enemy’s hand and it definitely makes the devil upset. The fiery darts began which means he will throw all kinds of things in our paths to try and stumble us. But first John 4:4 says, You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. It might seem like a never ending battle at times but remember what Paul said in Romans chapter 8 Verse 18, For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Paul would know because he was taken up into the 3rd heaven 2 Corinthians 11 And he saw heaven. Don’t let the things of this world bring you down because God has a great retirement plan for his children.
