Happy Friday to you all from Texas. Well our dogs woke us up again at 5 AM so I am doing an early devotion, thank you Jesus. Please continue to pray for Ruben. They put off the procedure until this morning so pray everything looks good and please continue to pray for pastor Tom and Patty.

” Action speaks louder than words ” is the title of our devotion. 1st John 3:18 says, My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. Some of you remember we had this saying on the wall of our church at Free Indeed on 5th and D st in Perris. It’s easy to say things like I love you. But sometimes talk is cheap. It’s cheap if you don’t live it. If I say I love you and show that I love you then it’s not cheap anymore. To show someone that you care is to do something about their situation. John says, let us not love in word or in tongue? Don’t let it just be lip service but let it be real. And let us not love with partiality, that we just love a few people and not care for the rest. True love takes sacrifice! Look at our Lord and what he went through. His love is real and it is here for all of us without partiality or prejudice. My brother pastor Mike Lewis had a saying that went, It doesn’t matter what anyone else does, it’s what you do that counts. You see, sometimes we love by how we are treated. If they treat me good I’ll love them if not, I won’t. That’s not God’s love, that’s man’s love. If this rubs you the wrong way, maybe you need to get your love right. Don’t get mad, get it right.
