Our devotion today is called, ” Appetite for what is right ” Matthew 5:6 says, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. We all have the knowledge of good and evil passed down from Adam and Eve when they ate from that tree, Genesis 3. And because of that each and everyone of us knows right from wrong. How many people today are chasing after evil? It almost seems strange to do what is right in the day and age we are living in. But to hunger and thirst for righteousness is to hunger and thirst for the true and living God. That means we will want to do what is right. To fulfill the fruit of the Spirit in our lives, Galatians 5:22-23 which says, But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control,. Against such there is no law. Do you have an appetite for what is right? If not, cry out to Jesus to give you a heart for Him. We need to be more like Jesus in these crazy days we are living in.
