Being thankful
Good day to everyone.
It’s thanksgiving week so we will be doing verses on thanksgiving.
Our devotion is called, “Being thankful” Psalm 95:2 says, Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. When we pray or worship in song or the word it is always a good thing to be thankful as we come into His presence. What are you thankful for? As a believer in Christ I’m thankful first for Jesus, then my wife and family, church family, a house to live in and the list goes on and on. In verse 1 and 2 we find the phrase let us. Let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation, V2 let us come before His throne with thanksgiving and let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. We can ask God to let us do a lot of things but here is what is most important. Sitting at the LORDs feet and praising Him like Mary did in Luke 10:38-42. Being thankful to God is always a good thing for the soul. Let us be a thankful people even in the midst of trial and trouble. Thank you LORD!
Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
