” Declaring Gods love in the Spirit ” Colossians 1:9-10 says, For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. V10, that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. These words were written because of a faithful servant named Epaphras who brought a good report of the Colossian believers. This reminds me of Psalm 133:1 which says, Behold how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity. When the Holy Spirit is working among God’s children it is a beautiful thing to experience. God is love, 1st John 4:8, and when God’s Holy Spirit moves freely in a body of believers people are blessed and at peace. That is what was happening with these Colossian believers and Epaphras was letting Paul know, these people love God. My brother Pastor Mike Lewis used to say, It doesn’t matter what anyone else does, it’s what you do that counts. Be a light in a dark place or in a light place.
