Our devotion on this Tuesday is called, ” Every word of God is pure ” Proverbs chapter 30 and verse 5 says Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. You cannot say every word is pure about anything else. In a book, In a movie or anything, it is an amazing statement to say this. In Titus chapter one and verse two it says, In hope of eternal life which God, Who cannot lie, Promised before time. No matter what area of God’s word we read, it is true through and through and on that you can depend. There is so much in this world that we cannot depend upon, But God’s word is not one of them. From Genesis to Revelation every word is true and as we read it our faith will be built up, Romans Chapter 10 and verse 17 says, So that faith comes by hearing, And hearing by the word of God. There’s nothing else that you read on this planet that can do that! Only the Bible has every word true and pure and only the Bible can cause your faith in God to be built up. And the second part of this verse says and He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Proverbs chapter 18 verse 10 says, The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run into it and are safe. I guess we could end by saying, Trust in the LORD with all your heart, Lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your path. The promises of God are yes and Amen. And this verse says it all.
