Hello everybody and good day.

Our devotion today is called, ” Fear God and get wisdom ” Psalm 111:10 says, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments, His praise endures forever. My old buddy Chayo Reyes used to ask people when they backslid, When did you stop fearing the LORD? It is so true that when the fear of the Lord is gone we end up doing things we shouldn’t. Just like when there is no police in sight, many people will speed or roll through stop signs. Fearing God will begin to give you a good understanding in life which will cause you to be a God pleaser. What are God’s commandments? Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-40, You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. So when it comes right down to it, it’s all about loving God and people! If we do that, we are fearing and obeying God. To love and obey is a pleasure when you come to know Jesus as your Savior. That is wisdom! Please continue to pray, pray, pray.
