Light of the world, You stepped down into darkness.

Opened my eyes let me see. Beauty that made this heart adore you, Hope of a life spent with You.

Our devotion today is called, ” Glad to be called by God ” Psalm 122:1-2 says, I WAS glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. Our feet have been standing Within your gates, O Jerusalem! King David longed for fellowship as any child of God does. We sang these words at Calvary chapel paramount years ago and sang light of the world at Free Indeed years ago. Both songs sing about our fellowship with God. Fellowship means a partnering up with and because Jesus came to earth and took our sins and rose from the dead we can now have that sweet fellowship with God Almighty. It is so amazing that the God of this great universe desires to hang out with me and you but He does. And because He made the way for us we can now go into the house of the LORD and worship the King of kings with all the rest of the saints. I am so glad that God called me out of darkness and into His marvelous light. Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me, I once was lost but now I am found, was blind but now I see.
