Daily Devotion
Hidden treasure
Good day to all my awesome brothers and sisters.
Today’s devotion is called, ” Hidden treasure ” Psalm 119″9-11 says, ” How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. With my whole heart have I sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You. We are seeing in our lifetime a cleaning of the government that I don’t think has ever happened before. Wasteful spending at a level we never thought possible. But we can waste our life away just like that. Spending all our time on things that are just passing away. Jesus said where your treasure is there your heart will be also, Matthew 6:21. The reason for all the senseless spending is greed or selfish ambition, Galatians 5:20. The real treasure is found in the word of God, Psalm 119:11, Your word I have hidden in my heart/ “hidden treasure” That I might not sin against You. The greatest thing in this life is a sin preventative and that happens when we get filled with God’s Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit directs us to God’s word which shows us the way of life. We are watching 2nd Timothy 3 play out before our very eyes. Which says, But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come; For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. Does all this seem like today? Does it sound like DC? Pray for our leaders today and pray for all those we’ve mentioned that are going through health and suffering. We will be going live tonight on Free Indeed website at 8 PM Texas time if you want to join in. It is an awesome study through the book of Judges. We are flying out to California 2 weeks from today so we won’t be going live while we are in California which means from March 5th to the 12th.
Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
