Pray for Israel and the U.S.A. for victory in Jesus.

Our devotion today is called, ” I Me Mine ” 2nd Timothy 3:1-5 says, 1, But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come. 2, For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! Man O man does that describe our world today. People have been programmed to think that money and pleasure are the pathway to happiness. But as we look at those chasing this nightmare we see that they become very miserable people. And when you look at the born again believer in Christ you will see a person who is content and blessed. 1st John 2:17 says, And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. Whenever we get into the I me mine mindset we become like 2nd Timothy 3:1-5. Be like the missionary Jim Elliot who said, He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot lose. Choose Jesus and be blessed.
