I'd rather?

Happy election Tuesday and I sure hope you vote according to policy and not color or gender! Love you all from Texas.

Our devotion today is called, ” I’d rather ? ” Psalm 84:10 says, ” For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand, I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in tents of wickedness. This was written by the sons of Korah who at one point rebelled against God’s leader Moses. Many of them died because of that. Now they are singing praises to Him. Charles Spurgeon called this Psalm, The pearl of psalms. What would you rather be doing at the end of this year and all of next year?? After Korah’s fall they realized that they wanted to serve God. A doorkeeper is the first one to get to church and the last one to leave. Why would someone want to do that you might ask? Because they love God and want to serve Him with all their heart. The devil will always give you other things to do but the greatest thing any of us can do, is serve Jesus for all of our days. He is the author and finisher of our faith, Hebrews 12:2.

Have a blessed day and look up because our redemption draws near, and remember that Jesus loves you!
