I'll take mercy

Happy Friday once again. Please continue to pray for Pastor Tom and Patty and for Martha and Dennis and for Donna Toombs niece, for complete healing.

Our devotion on this beautiful Friday is called, I’ll take mercy ” Psalm 103:8 says, The LORD is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. We can never be good enough to get into heaven. To qualify we must be perfect. That leaves everyone out because we are all born into sin, Psalm 51:5, Romans 5:12-21. So what is the solution? Jesus! He was born of a virgin, Luke 1:34-35 which means Jesus was born without sin. He lived a perfect life, 2nd Corinthians 5:21 and He went to the cross to pay for our sin because without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin. Christ paid it all, all to Him we owe, sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow. I will take His mercy because there is no other way into heaven, John 14:6. He is not only merciful but He is abounding in mercy, there is plenty for everyone, we just have to receive His mercy. Believe it and receive it and you will be a blessed person, blessed by the best.

Have a blessed weekend, go to church on Sunday and always remember that Jesus loves you!
