” In due season ” is the Title of our devotion. Galatians 6:9 says, And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. If we are honest I think we have all got a little tired while doing good things for God. What gets us that way? overdoing it, people, things going wrong. Which might lead to anger, frustration, fatigue. But sometimes we need to let certain things go and focus on what we know is most important. When the word says grow not weary, I believe it is saying, don’t give up. That doesn’t mean we can’t take a break because even our Lord had to go up on the mount of olives and spend time with His Father. The great part of this in my opinion is, in due season we shall reap if we faint not. What a great promise from God. I believe He is saying reap spiritual things. You will grow in the Lord through it and that is what is so important. Don’t give up, take a break and then get back in the race.
