Good day to you all and let’s all lift up the name of Jesus in our lives today.

Our Devotion on this Tuesday is called, ” In Jesus name “. Colossians Chapter Three and verse 17 says, And whatever you do in word or deed, Do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, Giving thanks to God the Father through Him. When we pray we always end our prayers in Jesus name Amen. What does that mean? The word name means authority. So we are praying in the authority of the name of Jesus because we cannot come to the Father any other way. The word Amen means, So be it. 1st Timothy chapter two and verse 5 says, For there is one God and one mediator between God and man, The man Christ Jesus. Jesus said in John chapter 15 and verse 5, I am the the vine, You are the branches. He who abides in Me, And I in him, Bears much fruit; For without Me you can do nothing. Maybe that is why Jesus said in Matthew chapter 18 and verse 3, Assuredly, I say to you, Unless you are converted and become as little children, You will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Children are totally dependent upon their parents. And that’s how God says we should be with Him. So in Colossians chapter three and verse 17 when it says whatever you do in Word or deed do all in the name of the Lord Jesus It is speaking of when we do good works for the Lord that we would be doing it in his authority and thanking Him for it. Because there is no way in this world that we would be doing the wonderful good works that we’re doing unless it was through the power of God Almighty. So let’s all lift up the name of Jesus for every good work that we do. Amen?

Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
