Happy day after Christmas. Pray for all those we’ve mentioned and pray for our guitarist out here, his name is Rodney Pyeatt he is sick with some kind of flu.

Our devotion today is called, ” Keeping Christ in our heart ” Luke 2:19 says, But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. Christmas is such a special event that comes once a year and it comes and goes too fast. After the birth of Christ Mary meditated on what had just happened. The Lord from heaven was now on earth and she was holding Him in her arms. It’s a bit hard to grasp God coming to earth and becoming a baby and growing just like we did but that is what happened. Now Jesus can say He knows what we are going through because He came and went through it also. Hebrews 4:15 says, For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let’s remember after the noise of Christmas is gone, our Savior left all the comfort of heaven to come to the earth and be born, suffer, and die, and rise from the dead for you and I. Let’s Keep Christ in our hearts days, weeks, months after Christmas is gone.
