Good day to everyone and to everyone a good day.

The devotion today is called, ” Looking into God ” Psalm 119:15-16 says, I will meditate on Your precepts, And contemplate Your ways. I will delight myself in Your statues; I will not forget Your word. What is most important in our lives will end up taking up a large amount of our time. To a musician it would be music, to a football player it’s football and on and on. They are called fans. We get that word from the word fanatic. People get into something to the point of knowing more than most about it. David was a fan of God. He thought often about God and His ways. In verse 15 the word contemplate means to look into. I was talking to my brother Jimmy Adams the other day and he said he had been in God’s word for 3 or 4 hours that morning. He was looking into the things of God. Every morning I read and study the word of God because I want to know Him more. Verse 16 David called it a delight. What are we delighting ourselves in? In these last days we should be seeking God through prayer and the study of His word. It is not a burden to do this, it is a delight looking into God. Why? Because He is the author and finisher of our faith, Hebrews 12:2. Look into God, what He loves and what He hates. You will find everything you need to know in His word the Bible.
