Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. More love, more power, more of You in my life.

Our devotion on this Friday April 4th is called, ” Love is the greatest ” 1st Corinthians 13:13 says, And now abide faith, hope, and love, these three, but the greatest of these is love. The Bible says, without faith it is impossible to please God, Hebrews 11:6. The Bible says Christ is our hope, Colossians 1:27. but the greatest of these is love. There is a song by Larry Norman that says without love you ain’t nothin, you ain’t nothin without love. I believe the reason the Bible says the greatest of these is love is because God is love, 1st John 4:8 and from love stems all the fruit of the Holy Spirit, Galatian 5:22-23. We can try and fake being born again but eventually your true colors will come out because if God isn’t the greatest in your life you will end up back in the flesh. Love is the greatest because God is the greatest and when we put Him first in our lives we will be more than conquerors through Him who loves us. Love is the greatest because God is the greatest. Let that greatness rule in your life today.
