Happy Valentines Day to you all. All you need is love, 1st John 4:8.

Our devotion today is called, ” Love, love, love ” 1st Corinthians 13:1 says, Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. A great love story in the Bible is that of Jacob and Rachel. Genesis 29:20 says, So Jacob serves seven years for Rachel, and they seemed only a few days to him because of the love he had for her. Jacob ended up serving 14 years because Laban his faither in law tricked him. But there are some love songs that express love in a beautiful way. Something by the Beatles, the line that says, don’t want to leave her now, that’s love, or unchained melody by the righteous brothers, I’ve hungered for your touch. Expressions of love that people felt in their hearts. The greatest love in the universe is God’s love. Ephesians 5:25 says, Husbands love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her. Love, love, love as Christ loved the church which is a sacrificial love that can’t be matched. But let’s do our best to love one another, care for each other. And a special happy Valentines day to my beautiful wife Tina.
