Happy Friday and I hope you all had a blessed thanksgiving.

Our devotion today is called, ” One True God ” Psalm 96:5 says, For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the LORD made the heavens. How do we know what is really the true God? There was a show years ago called, What’s my line? They would have 3 people claiming to be someone and only one of them was the real deal. At the end of the show the real person would stand up. To know the real from the fake bank tellers are trained to look at real money. So when the counterfeit comes along they can spot it easily. It’s the same with God. Study His word which has been proven true throughout history and you will spot the fake’s. Isaiah 44:6 says, Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, And His Redeemer, The LORD of hosts: I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God. Jesus claimed to be God in John 8:58 and other places in the Bible. John 8:58 says Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM. Jesus was Quoting Exodus 3:14. There is only one true God and He is the God of the Bible, Genesis 1:1, who came to earth to die for the sin’s of the world and rose from the dead on the 3rd day and is alive forever more. Praise Jesus for His everlasting gift of salvation.
