Good day to you all and tomorrow is Halloween. If you are going to partake in Halloween do it in a way that will glorify the Lord. Like hand out tracks with your candy. Or dress your kids up like Bible characters.

Today our devotion is called, ” Opportunity comes knocking ” Colossians chapter 4 and verse 5 says, Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, Redeeming the time. I believe we have more contact with the outside world than ever during Halloween. And it’s a great time to let our light shine. Just think about it every time a kid comes to the door. It’s an opportunity to tell them that Jesus loves them. They are coming to you. What an opportunity to let our light shine toward those that are on the outside. Out here in Texas we don’t get any kids coming to our door. They have a section out in Troy where the police are there and it’s probably 5 or 6 blocks and a lot of the kids go there with their parents to be safe. I know Halloween is considered an evil holiday but let’s use it for the gospel of Jesus Christ to reach out to a sick and dying world. We can redeem the time in every situation if we look for the opportunity. Which means don’t let this time be wasted, Use it to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ .

May our Lord God bless and keep you through this weekend. And always remember to keep your eyes on Jesus because He has His eyes on you. And always remember that Jesus loves you!
