Today’s devotion is called, ” Our inheritance ” Psalm 119:11 says, “Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart. As I get older I think of what we will leave our children. I think about making a will so what I do leave will be sure to go to them. But the greatest thing I can leave my children is the knowledge of Jesus Christ. To have pointed them in the direction of heaven. Because God has the greatest inheritance for His children which is eternal life in His presence. The Psalmist talks about His testimonies which are clearly seen in all creation. To inherit means to get what our Father leaves us. Ephesians 1:11 says, In Him we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will. Talk about a great inheritance. God has an inheritance that is amazing and it is ours as His children. We have such a bright future and it is all because of Jesus, thank you Jesus!
