Daily Devotion
Persecuted for righteousness
Good day to you all, friends and enemies and family. Pray for our great nation! And pray for Israel!
Our devotion today is called, ” persecuted for righteousness ” Matthew 5:10 says, Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. What is persecution for righteousness? It is being treated badly for doing what is right. But not only for doing what is right, but doing what is right in the Lord. Whenever we let our Light shine, we can expect opposition even from within the church. The hardest thing in the world is to stay Christlike when that trial comes. To not respond in anger or the flesh but to remain kind and loving through it. Who hasn’t been through a fiery trial as a Christian? If we decide we want to do what is right, we can expect opposition, it just comes with the territory. Remember when this happens that God says you are blessed and yours is the kingdom of heaven. Don’t give up when the trials come, continue to do what is right.
Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
