Our devotion is called, ” PRAISE the LORD ” Psalm 146:1-2 says, PRAISE the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! While I live I will praise the LORD; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. Praise is a gift from us to God. We really have nothing else to give. Everything belongs to Him. Psalm 24:1 says, THE earth is the LORD’S, and all its fullness. The world and those who dwell therein. Praise is the one thing that we have that we can give to God freely and openly every day as a sacrifice to Him. God inhabits the praises of His people, Psalm 22:3. To worship God is to show our love and affection toward Him which will only bring out the best in us. Jesus told Satan in Luke 4:8, Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve. Satan had shown Jesus all the things of this world and told Him that they would all be his if Jesus would worship Satan. Jesus responded with Worship the true God and Him only. The word worship can also be translated serve. Whatever we do in this life, let’s make it serve the LORD. Love you all from Texas.
