Good day and happy Wednesday. God is great no matter what! Please continue to pray for the families here in Texas affected by the flood and pray more people will be found alive!

Our devotion is called, ” Pressin on ” Acts 20:24 says, But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. Whether we are on the mountaintop or in the valley, we are to testify of the good news of the grace of God. It’s easy to say praise the Lord when things are going your way. Like the song, “Blessed be Your name” Blessed be Your Name, when the sun’s shining down on me, When the world’s all as it should be, Blessed be Your Name. But what about, Blessed be Your name, on the road marked with suffering, Though there’s pain in the offering, Blessed be Your Name. It’s a choice we make through the trials of life, whether we trust in God or live in strife. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying it’s easy when we go through the pain and suffering but trusting God sure makes it easier. Like Peter said all those years ago in John 6:68, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Pressin on means, I will not allow this world to dictate my walk with Jesus.
