Refiners fire, my heart’s one desire, is to be holy.

Happy Friday and our devotion is called, ” Refined and tried ” Psalm 119:140 says, Your word is very pure; Therefore Your servant loves it. To make pure gold or as pure as they can get it they boil it and all the impurities come to the top. You could boil the word of God and nothing would come to the top because it is already pure. The word holy means pure. When God’s word says He is holy it means He is pure. Even a little baby is born a sinner and in this world there is very little that is pure. When you come to the conclusion that God’s word is pure you love it as a child of God. In a world full of deceit, lies, deception it is good to know we have a book that is full of truth, hope, and love. Don’t let anyone fool you by saying the word of God has mistakes in it. I remember years ago talking to a guy in Hollywood who said he studied the whole Bible and it has fault. I asked him, what does Romans 10:13 say? And he didn’t know. I told him it looks like you didn’t study very well. The point is, there are many out there speaking lies about the truth and that is why it is so important to know the truth!
