Shine upon me
Oh Lord You’re beautiful, Your face is all I seek, And when Your eyes are on this child, Your grace abounds to me.
Our devotion is called, ” Shine upon me ” Psalm 119:135 says, Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your statutes. The psalmist is asking for the blessings of God. As a child of God I realize that apart from God I can do nothing. Jesus said in John 15:5, I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If His light shines on us, our light can shine to others, Matthew 5:16. When God is shining light upon us we also will learn His ways, Psalm 119:135. We will be taught by Him His statutes. Teach us O Lord what is pleasing to You and also what is displeasing to You. We are Yours and want to put a smile on Your face. Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your statutes. Please pray for me. I am still feeling pretty bad and please continue to pray for all I’ve mentioned.
Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
