Good day to you all. As I look out my window I see leaves on the trees turning yellow and red which tells me they are dying. That is the beautiful side of death.

Our devotion today is called, ” The beautiful side of death ” Psalm 103:12 says, As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. In order for us to live in Christ we must die to self. Luke 9:23 says, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. When Jesus said this He was speaking of dying to self. Jesus literally died for our sins and He expects us to die also. Before we come to Christ we are dead in trespasses and sins, Ephesians 2:1 but once we become born again, John 3:3 we become dead to sin. Sin will no longer rule our lives. David in this Psalm 103 says they are removed as far as the east is from the west, in other words, they don’t return, and that is the beautiful side of dying to self. Oh we may sin after salvation but 1st John 1:9 says, if we ask they are removed, and as a child of God we will ask. It is so good to know that we serve a God that is so merciful, all we have to do as His children is ask and He will forgive us. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. If you have found yourself in sin, repent and ask for forgiveness and God will remove your sin. Thank you Jesus.
