Happy Friday to you all and I pray we all have a great weekend.

Our devotion on this Friday is called, ” The compassion of Christ ” Proverbs chapter 19 and verse 17 says, he who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, and He will pay back what he has given. So when it comes down to it God is allowing us to help those in need and when we do He is gonna pay us back. Our payback is for eternity and we really can’t wrap our minds around something like that. Psalm 68:5 says, A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy habitation. Jesus said in Matthew chapter 19 and verse 14, let the little children come to me, and do not forbid them; For of such is the kingdom of heaven. It seems like every human. that is weak or in need God has a heart towards them. Just to think that Christ left his heavenly home where he was worshiped and comfortable to come to this place called Earth and be made fun of and murdered because He cared just blows my mind! But we serve a God that is full of compassion and love and forgiveness and that same God wants a close relationship with each and every one of us because He wants us in heaven! oh what a mighty God we serve and O what a compassionate God we serve. To show compassion to our fellow man is the greatest sign of love we can have!
