Good Monday morning to everyone.

Getting ready to rain out here in Texas, How’s your weather?

Our devotion is called, The days of our lives. Sounds like a soap opera. Psalm 90:10 says, The days of our lives are 70 years; And if by reason of strength they are 80 years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off and we fly away. This life has flown by like a warm summer day. George Harrison of the Beatles wrote, each day just goes so fast, I turn around its past. This psalm talks of how fast it goes and how it’s filled with labor and sorrow. Job 14:1 says, Man who is born of woman Is of few days and full of trouble. If we are honest we will say this is true of our lives also. Some maybe more than others, But for me I find my contentment and joy in God and family. David wrote in Psalm 23:4, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. If you are going through hard times, whether it be physical, spiritual, financial, just know that you’re not alone in your pain and your suffering. We are all going through something that hurts, but when we go through it together it makes the burden a little lighter. God is with us, and we can be here for each other.
