The foolish and the wise
Happy Friday to all of you and I pray you have a great weekend.
Our devotion is called, ” the foolish and the wise”. Matthew 7:26-27 says, But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand, and the rain descended, the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall. These are the last words that Jesus spoke on sermon on the mount, Matthew 5-7. I think everyone should take the time to read what Jesus said in His longest recorded message, don’t you? Jesus relates not hearing His message to building a house on sand, and no one builds a house on sand if they want it to stand. We need to listen closely to what Jesus says in this sermon and live it PERIOD! Or we will get swept away with every wind of doctrine.
