Good Monday morning. It was nice having family out here and pray they have a safe flight home, their flight is leaving at 5:15 this morning.

Our devotion on this Monday is called, ” The peace of God ” Colossians Chapter Three and verse 15 says, And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, To which also you were called in one body; And be thankful. I think it is very interesting how this is worded. Let; Why would the Lord say let the peace of God? Because many times we will not let the peace of God rule in our hearts. Instead we choose to let anxiety or anger or frustration rule instead. It amazes me that the Lord Jesus Christ had to get away from everything sometimes and sit at the Father’s feet and pour His heart out. Why? Because this life is so full of heartache and misery and struggles and trials that it can bring us down and take the peace completely away from us. But that is when we gotta let the peace of God into our lives and Let it rule in our heart and soul. I know that is easier said than done but the key is right here in this message that we would get away from everything and sit at the Lord’s feet. It says to which also you were called in one body. We were called to be a people that has the peace of God Ruling in our lives. In Philippians chapter 4 verses 4 through 7 it says, rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, But in everything by prayer and supplication, With Thanksgiving, Let your request be known to God; And the peace of God, Which surpasses all understanding, Will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. And, BE THANKFUL! Don’t look around at what you don’t have, Look at what you do have and be thankful for it. And the peace of God will be ruling in your heart. As I’m doing this devotion the Lord is speaking to my heart that I need to practice this because lately I have not had the peace that surpasses all understanding but I am going to be praying for that peace and practicing what’s in this devotion.

I pray you all have a blessed day, Keep your eyes on Jesus and always remember that He loves you!
