Good day to you all on this beautiful Tuesday. Please pray for those that are sick and battling diseases, Pray for Roger Lewis, Guy, Chuy out here in Texas who is sick, My brother Dennis Lewis who is having heart and lung issues, My niece Misty who just had a hip replaced.

The title of our devotion today is called, ” The strong tower of God ” Proverbs Chapter 18 and verse 10 says, the name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. In the Old Testament they would have walls around the city and at the top of that wall they would have a tower where men would watch for the enemy. Our strong Tower is the Lord God Almighty and it’s in His name that we are protected. When it talks about the name of the Lord it’s talking about his authority and power. As children of God we run to God for our needs, protection, guidance and justice about everything! How many people rely on their insurance to cover them in case of some kind of an accident or robbery? We make sure we have locks on our doors and deadbolts and in some cases security windows and alarms on our cars because we are trying to protect everything that we own and there’s nothing wrong with that. But what about the protection of our soul from evil? And there is plenty of evil in this world today! Do you have your fire insurance paid up? Jesus Christ mutual life and it’s all paid for. The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run into it and are safe. Are you safe today from the Wiles of the devil? Are you safe today from your own desires that might not be of God? God wants to protect you through the power of His Holy Spirit which will be conviction in your life from God himself to keep you from the evil of this world! Read Ephesians chapter 6 verses 10 through 17.
