The treasure of Your word
Lord You are more precious than silver, Lord You are more costly than gold, Lord You are more beautiful than diamonds, And nothing I desire compares with You.
Our devotion is called, ” The treasure of Your word ” Psalm `119:162 says, I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure. I remember one time I had put some money away and then forgot about it. Some months later I remembered it but forgot where I put it. After searching for a while I finally found it and rejoiced.. So often treasure is what we think of as money but the greatest treasure we can look at here on God’s green earth is God’s word. Charles Spurgeon at the end of his life was asked about reading the Bible and he said, I’m just scratching the surface. God’s word is so deep you can go scuba diving and it can be so simple you can go up to your ankles. The treasures in His word are never-ending and we must go after them like a kid in an easter egg hunt! Thank you Jesus for leaving us Your roadmap to heaven.
Have a blessed day and always remember that Jesus loves you!
